Marathon of Sport Toronto

The annual event will host sixty teams participating in a variety of sports, including football, giant pong, ultimate frisbee, bench ball, handball, soccer, and bocce ball across the University of Toronto’s campus: Varsity Field, Varsity Arena, Goldring Centre and the back campus fields.

Teams from around the GTA will fundraise prior to the event with the overall goal of raising $400,000 net. The Marathon of Sport not only brings awareness to the Special Olympics movement but also allows people with and without intellectual disabilities to interact, build lifelong friendships, and ultimately create more inclusive communities. The funds raised through this year’s Marathon of Sport will ensure Special Olympics athletes have the resources to stay active and compete in the sports they love on a national and international level.

The 2023 Toronto Marathon of Sport is presented by Toyota on the Park & Scarborough Toyota.
