This Wednesday, Feb. 1, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (@chicagosymphony) is back in Toronto for the first time since 1914. Presented by the Royal Conservatory of Music at Koerner Hall, the Grammy-winning orchestra — which has been named the United States’ best — will perform music from Beethoven and Prokofiev. A second performance is scheduled for Feb. 2. ⁠

Fifteen Dogs, a @CrowsTheatre production, is an adaptation of André Alexis’s 2015 book. Set in Toronto, this canine adventure uses humour and storytelling to reflect on the larger question: If dogs were granted human intelligence, would they be happier than us?⁠

The Montreal-based artist creatively reimagines her home — with more than 500 miniature polymer clay figures displayed on and in furniture pieces. Born of the pandemic, this exhibit is a sculpted documentary of individual and collective experiences grounded in current events.⁠
