New York Fashion Week x Canada Conference in Toronto

Canadian designers descending on our biggest city for Fashion Art Toronto are cordially invited to attend New York’s Runway 7 Canada Conference to learn how designers can gain exposure at New York Fashion Week.

“We want to present our Made in Canada initiative to get Canadian talent in front of a live audience and provide opportunities by presenting their latest collections at New York Fashion Week,” explains Christina Kovacs, Partnership Director at Runway 7, a runway show producer for NYFW every season.

The sessions will run on November 18th and 19th at Fairmont Royal York Hotel in downtown Toronto, from 11am to 1pm each day. Designers interested in attending this event can submit their request via the company’s official instagram page @runway7fashion or email: info@runway7fashion.com.

Runway 7 Fashion has already helped amplify many notable Canadian designers, including Scott Wabano, the first Indigenous brand to showcase a collection on such a broad scale. Other noteworthy Canadian brands include Stephanie Eagletail Designs, Lulu Et Gigi by Eni Buiron, MARTIANALLY (showcasing at Toronto Art Fashion Week), and Tara Bhuyan (who specializes in sustainable couture).
