One Book, Many Communities—Things You May Find Hidden in My Ear: Poems from Gaza

Join us for an evening celebrating the poetry collection Things You May Find Hidden in My Ear: Poems from Gaza by Mosab Abu Toha, winner of the 2022 Palestine Book Award, the 2023 American Book Award, and Arrowsmith Press’s 2023 Derek Walcott Poetry Prize. Part of the “One Book, Many Communities” campaign from Librarians and Archivists with Palestine (LAP) in collaboration with the United Jewish People’s Order (UJPO), the event will begin with a presentation from LAP outlining the destruction of education and cultural institutions in Gaza as a method of ethnic cleansing. The poetry reading portion welcomes audience participation.

Tickets are $15 or $12 for UJPO members. Palestinian guests are welcome to email onebookcampaign@gmail.com for a comped ticket.The ticket price goes towards venue costs, with any additional funds donated to the Toronto Community Justice Fund.Copies of Things You May Find Hidden in My Ear by Mosab Abu Toha are available at Another Story Bookshop while supplies last.
