Sound of Jazz: Jeremy Ledbetter Trio + special guests (Virtual Event)

The Jeremy Ledbetter Trio pushes the boundaries of jazz and world music, providing an undiluted display of rampaging energy and captivating musicianship. If the Jeremy Ledbetter Trio were an inanimate object it would be a runaway train. Esteemed pianist Jeremy Ledbetter is joined by Grammy-winning drummer Larnell Lewis of Snarky Puppy and renowned electric bassist Rich Brown – together they offer the perfect counterpart to Ledbetter’s iconoclastic energy at the piano. The Trio’s debut album “Got a Light?”, released in 2018, has been described as “a controlled explosion of big ideas and compelling musical storytelling”

The 45th season of the Sound of Jazz Concert Series features six special concerts taking place between October 2021 and March 2022 in the Long & McQuade Performance Hall at the JAZZ.FM91 studios.

Audiences from across the globe will be able to hear each concert LIVE on the air and see them online via a live stream on JAZZ.FM91’s Facebook page. As with all Sound of Jazz concerts, the performances will also be archived for an upcoming episode of our weekly Sound of Jazz program, sponsored by WTF Group, Commercial Real Estate Development, on Sundays at 4 p.m. ET.
