Calling all culture and history enthusiasts! Griot's Table invites you to “Sounds of Liberation: A Juneteenth Celebration”, a gathering to honor the legacy of the women and men who fought tirelessly for Black liberation and justice, while honoring the Black culinary heritage that has sustained our communities for generations, and the songs and rhythms that have lifted our spirits and inspired our souls. Tickets cost 150$ per person and include:
Live music: From the Negro spirituals of the Antebellum Era to the Blues and Jazz of the Harlem Renaissance, the Soul and Funk of the civil rights movement, and the Hip-Hop and R&B of today.
Storytelling: Explore Black history through food and music
5 -course meal paired with Alcoholic drinks*: A curated menu that highlights black culinary traditions (See menu below)
