Tool Library and Makerspace Members - Sewing Workshop

Use your current Toronto Tool Library or TTL Makerspace membership to come and learn for free! Conducted by The Shared Bag, you’ll get hands-on with personal instruction to help you get up and started. If you’ve ever wanted to borrow and use our sewing machines, but weren’t sure how to start, this workshop should be perfect for you.

Feel free to bring along textiles you are interested to work wth, or items you’re interested in fixing or upcycling. The Shared Bag will be receiving donations of materials for use in their workshops.

The Shared Bag gives second opportunities to upcycled textiles and builds new items from them, while connecting with different communities. During this free two hour workshop you can learn the basics of sewing and we will be making items out of upcycled fabric for you to keep!
