Vivid City: A Toronto-Themed Art Show by Kate Land

See the streets of Toronto through new eyes. “Vivid City” is a solo show by Toronto-born artist Kate Land who fills her canvases with eye-popping acrylic colours and wobbly, whimsical lines in a uniquely stylized celebration of the imperfect. As an artist with facial differences, she says, “I may not be able to control the way others see me, but I hope that through my art I can help them see the world the way I do.”
