World Water Day Community Town Hall - The Problem and Promise of Peat

On World Water Day (March 22), Water Docs and Regenerating Toronto deliver an in-depth town hall exploring the power of peatlands to store 2x the carbon of all the world’s forests, and the benefits lost when mined for things like garden soil.

In celebration of World Water Day on March 22, Water Docs and Regenerating Toronto are co-hosting this event in anticipation of the upcoming gardening season. We will learn and discuss peat use in Ontario and why its continued use is problematic for our climate and much more.
