Find a warm, seasonal welcome into a world of creatures by Sae Kimura, an artist in multiple media including papier-mâché; these simple paper-and-tape painted puppets fill the second-floor Collage Gallery – and you may see the artist at work.
Meet a dramatic cast of puppet sculptures by Sae Kimura, upstairs in the Collage Gallery as part of a new installation entitled
*Curtain Call*.
The artist's papier-mâché figures join a collection of collage pieces by multiple artists in an intimate environment curated by deborah harris.
New characters may enter the stage during this show's run, through to January 25th, 2024.
Also see a new arrangement of the Up North Gallery, including a piece displayed for the first time at Gallery Arcturus by Annie Mikpiga [1900-1984]: ‘Men sight caribou’, 1973, ink block print on paper.
