Mark Crozier "Painting Toronto" and John F. Marok "Reflections" a two person art exhibition

Mark Crozier is a Toronto artist known for capturing the dynamic beauty of Toronto’s downtown neighborhoods, streetscapes and city life. Mark paints with a raw vibrant style that captures the vitality of place and shows us the city in a new and personal way.  The artist’s work is in an impressionist manner that allows the artist to see the essence of the city both familiar and hidden. Painting Toronto is a passion for Mark Crozier as he seeks to depict an ever-changing urban landscape while paying homage to its lasting beauty.

John F. Marok:

“In my paintings, I channel my inner world and I explore my relationship with the people, places and things around me. I often depict narratives of love, reflections on solitude, and childhood memories. My work is abound with historical cameos and references.”

John F. Marok lives and works in Wakefield, Quebec, a quaint little village in the Gatineau Hills, where he paints full-time. Born in Montreal in 1960 John F. Marok has been the recipient of the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal (2002). The artist’s work has been widely exhibited in Canada, and has been collected by several museums including the Musée National des Beaux Arts du Québec, Quebec City, Musée d’Art Contemporain in Montreal, the Canada Council Art Bank, Ottawa, Calgary’s Nickel Arts Museum and the Agnes Etherington Arts Centre in Kingston.
