Din of Shadows

Din of Shadows is a Toronto-based non-proscenium performing arts company. We are a collection of creators and performers from the worlds of music, dance, and theatre dedicated to the development and production of interdisciplinary works by Canadian artists. We seek out the art of the in-between: the pieces that don’t fit neatly into traditional categories, and that might not be realized anywhere else.

Founded in 2017 by Artistic Director Quinn Jacobs, Din has worked with 86 artists and technical personnel en route to 19 world premieres across six unique events. Our partners and supporters include The Music Gallery, Arraymusic, The Underground Dance Centre, the Toronto Arts Council, the Ontario Arts Council, and the SOCAN Foundation.
