Shifting Ground Collective is Toronto’s newest indie musical theatre collective dedicated to the city’s emerging artists. With mission to nurture a diverse and sustainable Canadian Musical Theatre culture by investing in new Canadian musical theatre content; offer equitable, high-quality presentation and development opportunities for emerging Canadian artists; and bring beloved staples of the musical theatre canon to Canadian audiences, Shifting Ground’s programming stretches from developmental workshops of new Canadian musicals, full-scale productions of musical theatre favourites, community events and cabaret concerts.
