The Festival of Literary Diversity (FOLD) centers stories by underrepresented authors and storytellers – showcasing one-of-a-kind programming for youth, emerging writers and readers. As the only festival of its kind in Canada, FOLD provides a unique opportunity to reach a diverse audience of engaged and thoughtful readers by centering marginalized voices and providing a wide range of thoughtfully curated content.

The FOLD Foundation hosts two annual literary festivals (The May Festival of Literary Diversity and the November FOLD Kids Book Fest) and a variety of year-round literary programming both in Brampton, Ontario, and online. The Foundation exists to celebrate and uplift the work of underrepresented and marginalized authors and storytellers in Canada and around the world.
