Centennial Park

Centennial Park is located at the northwest corner of Toronto. It is home to Centennial Park Conservatory and the Centennial Park Pan Am BMX Centre. It also has a number of playgrounds, sport fields and other facilities. Centennial was opened in 1967 to celebrate Canada’s 100th birthday. The land the park now occupies was once a dairy farm. A large portion of this farm was purchased by the City of Toronto to create the park.
