Brampton Arts Organization

The Brampton Arts Organization champions Brampton’s diverse arts, culture and creative industries and advocates for the #BramptonArtist. We work to build a thriving, confident, valued, and empowered creative scene by offering a range of programs, services and resources. In this, BAO is a key partner in fulfilling the City of Brampton’s strategic vision and Culture Master Plan.

Throughout the year, we offer free in-person and virtual programming for all creative disciplines. These programs focus on helping artists build and professionalize their practices. We also create opportunities for artists to show their work through regular calls. In addition to these programs for individual creatives, we offer programs for Brampton-based creative businesses and arts and culture organizations.

The Brampton Arts Organization office includes a large classroom, media room and photography room. The office is open to the general public, every last Wednesday of the month from noon to 8:00 pm for Open Studio+.

All parking in Downtown Brampton municipal lots is FREE at this time.

There is free parking at the following five garages
- Nelson Square Parking Garage (2 Diplock Lane - surface parking)
- West Tower Parking Garage (55 George Street South)
- John Street Parking Garage (16 John Street)
- City Hall Parking Garage (2 Wellington Street West - Entrance on George St. South)
- Market Square / The Rose Theatre Garage (1 Theatre Lane)

Bicycle parking is available at Market Square, City Hall and John Street Garage. Outdoor bicycle racks available in Vivian Lane and Garden Square (between Rose Theatre & Main St. North)

PUBLIC HOURS

The Brampton Arts Organization is open to the public every last Wednesday of the month from noon to 8:00 p.m. for Open Studio+ and for in-person events and workshop.
