Hugh's Room Live

Toronto’s best listening room at its new home at 296 Broadview Avenue (just south of Gerrard) in the heart of the East Chinatown/Riverdale neighbourhood.

We present live music most Thursday through Saturdays with occasional shows at other times, or in partnership with other presenters. Hugh’s Room Live has a 20+ year reputation as the Toronto stop for many legacy and emerging artists in the folk, roots, Americana/Canadiana, global and jazz music genres. There will always be something worth listening to at Hugh’s Room Live.

The intimate venue (a former church) seats up to 200, theatre style with advance concerts tickets recommended, though most nighs you can pick tickets up at to door on the night of. All seats are good seats and the sound is the best in town.

PARKING INFO

There is free (!) street parking on Broadview Avenue after 6pm. There are also two "Green P" Toronto Parking Authority lots on Gerrard St E (one block north) both east and west of Broadview. Parking on side streets is not recommended as the non-permit limit is only 1-hour and we like to keep our neighbours happy!

PUBLIC HOURS

The majority of shows start at 8pm with doors open at 7pm. There are shows nearly every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights - with some Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Sunday matinees (2pm) or evening performances.

PUBLIC ADMISSION FEES

All concerts are ticketed with prices ranging from $25 to 50$ plust HST and a $5 facility fee. Door prices are $5 extra night of. Some show have student and arts worker pricing (50%) available.
